# Deploy a website from MCP

**Direct answer:** Demox has an MCP server so an AI coding agent can publish a static site without opening a cloud console. Add npx -y @demox-site/mcp-server@latest to the MCP config for Claude Code, Cursor, or another MCP client. Restart the agent. The first deploy opens a browser for OAuth. After that, the agent can upload a folder, ZIP, HTML file, or document. The npm package is @demox-site/mcp-server. This is for static output and Node handlers that export handler(request, env). It is not an Express listen host.

## How to do it

1. **Step 1.** Add the Demox MCP server to the agent config with npx -y @demox-site/mcp-server@latest.
2. **Step 2.** Restart the agent and complete the browser login on first use.
3. **Step 3.** Point the agent at a folder that contains index.html, or at a single HTML file.
4. **Step 4.** Ask it to deploy to Demox and return the public URL.
